Yahoo News Netflix releases full length trailer for Midnight Mass and wow it looks terrifying
The Haunting of Hill House is one of Netflix’s most critically-acclaimed original TV series ever. And now the creators of Hill House have teased details of another terrifying show: Midnight Mass.
Director Mike Flanagan, who helmed The Shining sequel Doctor Sleep, developed Midnight Mass among other shows in a deal with the streaming service.
His movies to date include Gerald’s Game and Hush, and he also worked on the follow up to Hill House, named The Haunting of Bly Manor, inspired by The Turn of the Screw.

What's the plot of Midnight Mass?
The official Netflix synopsis reads: "An isolated community experiences miraculous events – and frightening omens – after the arrival of a charismatic, mysterious young priest." Sounds like Messiah, but scarier!
Do we have a trailer for Midnight Mass?
Netflix must have read our minds because not only have they released a teaser trailer for the new series (omg we've already got goosebumps), but they also just released a full-length trailer (which you can watch above), which gives us a bit more in terms of plot. Plus, it looks bone-chillingly terrifying.

Who has been cast in Midnight Mass?
Kate Siegel, who shot to fame as Theodora on Hill House, will star in Midnight Mass. She has previously appeared in Ouija: Origin of Evil and Oculus. Joining her on the call sheet will be Zach Gilford, known for Good Girls [below] and The Purge: Anarchy, and Hamish Linklater, known for Legion and The Big Short.
The show will also feature Rahul Abburi, Crystal Balint, Matt Biedel, Alex Essoe, Annabeth Gish, Rahul Kohli, Kristin Lehman, Robert Longstreet, Igby Rigney, Annarah Shephard, Samantha Sloyan, Henry Thomas and Michael Trucco, according to EW.
When is the release date for Midnight Mass?
Thankfully, we haven't got long to wait until the series lands on screens. Netflix announced on August 9th that the show would premier on the streaming platform next month – September 24th to be exact.
