HBO's 'Euphoria' Finally Sets Production Start Date for Season 3

A production start date for Euphoria season three has officially been set.

HBO announced that filming will begin in January 2025 with Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi and Hunter Schafer all set to return. “I am thrilled that we are ready to begin production on Euphoria in January,” said Francesca Orsi, HBO's head of drama. “We could not be happier with our creative partnership with Sam and this incredible cast. We look forward to bringing this new season of Euphoria to life for the fans.”

Sam Levinson's series last aired in January 2022 and has been put on pause for several years due to several reasons, including the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes of 2023, Levinson's rework on the scripts and most likely the busy schedule of its A-list cast. The Hollywood Reporter adds that season three may not air until 2026, marking a four-year gap between seasons.
