Remember last year's Heathrow Christmas advert? Well the grandparent bears, who captivated the hearts of many last Christmas when they arrived to visit family at Heathrow Airport, are back.

In this year's advert for Britain's biggest airport, the 50-year love story of Mrs Doris and Mr Edward Bair is told by looking back through time at every occasion the pair have been reunited at the arrival hall.

The advert starts in the 1960s, when the couple first met. We follow them through the '70s, '80s, '90s and into the present day and watch them come together every Christmas with their expanding bear family.

Not only do their family lives change but so do the fashions, planes and air stewardess uniforms throughout the two-minute advert.

At the end of the ad, just like last year, the bear family transforms into a real-life one, honing in on that message of bringing family back together (at an airport) in time for Christmas.

Most of the advert was filmed at Heathrow's Terminal 1 while British Airways provided a BOAC (British Overseas Airways Corporation) aircraft, air hostess uniforms and historic detail to help the advert producers get it right.

Passengers who book through Heathrow's complimentary Personal Shopping service will also receive a limited-edition scarf with the bears' design when they make a purchase.
