Helen Flanagan was set for surprise 'Coronation Street' return prior to third baby
Coronation Street actor Helen Flanagan has revealed that she was set to return to the soap before she found out she was expecting her third child with fiancé Scott Sinclair.
Appearing on Tuesday’s Loose Women, Flanagan confessed that she was meant to make a secret return to the cobbles as Rosie Webster, but found out that she was pregnant after initial talks with producers.
Asked by the Loose Women panel if she had any plans to return to the soap she said:
“It’s funny because, as soon as my fiancé moved back to play for Preston, I was in talks with Corrie about going back.”

“Then I found out I was pregnant a few days later and I had to say in my meeting that I was pregnant.”
“So I was going to go back but then I fell pregnant with Charlie and he’s the best thing ever.”

Speaking about her future in the hit ITV soap, she said she would be keen to explore a return, but not until her children are older.
“I’d love to [return], I grew up on the show and I do miss the excitement of that.”
“But your children are only young for such a [small] time so I’m just really enjoying being young and at home.”
She's not the only Corrie star to have recently had a baby, with Flanagan’s co-star Brooke Vincent — who plays her on-screen sister Sophie Webster — announcing last Thursday that she had given birth to her second child Monroe S J Bryan, with partner Kean Bryan.
