Helen Flanagan has teased that her latest stint filming Celebs Go Dating may or may not have gone as she hoped as she offered a three-word verdict. It was revealed last month that the actress had signed up for the E4 dating series after becoming single in 2022.

The actress didn't confirm the end of her 13-year relationship with footballer Scott Sinclair until April 2023. Ahead of a stint in the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here's first-ever spin-off show set in South Africa, Helen addressed rumours about her relationship and revealed that she and her fiance Scott had actually split in July 2022.

Now, Helen, 33, will soon be seen seeking the help of agents Anna Williamson, Paul Brunson and Dr. Tara, alongside the likes of former Gogglebox star Stephen Webb, Married At First Sight UK's Ella Morgan, Love Island star Chris Taylor, and actress and singer Jamelia.

Taking to her Instagram Story on Thursday (June 20), Helen showed off her latest filming outfit for the camera. She posed up a storm in the clip as she could be seen donning a stunning pink lace dress which boasts exaggerated sleeves, a frilled hem and slim belt around the waist.

The former Coronation Street star wore a statement sparkling ring and matching earrings to accessorise her look while her blond locks appeared to have been freshly blow-dried and pulled back into a classy half-up half-down style with her bangs perfectly framing her face.

She simply captioned the post: "@celebsgodating," with a pink heart emoji before adding the Sabrina Carpenter track 'Please Please Please' as the soundtrack. But in a follow-up post, Helen was seen no longer in her gorgeous pink outfit and as she rested her head into her hand, she pouted to the camera and said: "What. A. Day."

It also seemed she may have been missing her three children. Sharing a photo of her planting a kiss on her son Charlie, three, Helen said: "Need snotty kisses with my baby boy," alongside a red heart emoji.

It comes after Helen told how she has a 'difficult relationship' with her ex as she told fans of a recent act of kindness she received while trying to enjoy a special day with her young daughter. The former soap star, who played Rosie Webster in ITV's Corrie, has previously told how she likes to spend one-on-one time with all three of her children.

And so last weekend, it was Matilda's turn for a solo date with her mum over the weekend with the pair headed off to London. However, Helen has now opened up about how she ended up with 'bad mum guilt' as she was unable to book a table or get a walk-in slot at a hotel serving up a magical Beauty and the Beast themed afternoon tea.

Sharing a video of her eldest child on Instagram, Matilda could be seen dressed to impress. She looked adorable in a smart pink two-piece that she paired with matching shoes. The youngster had a smile on her face as she watched and listened to a harpist playing inside The Waldorf Hilton hotel in the capital.

Explaining what happened, Helen wrote a lengthy post alongside the video, in which she also mentioned co-parenting with her ex-fiancé. She said: "Matilda and I had a girls day on Saturday. Matilda wanted to go to the beauty and the beast afternoon tea @waldorfhilton and it was so lovely x I’m so proud of the beautiful girl Matilda is and how lovely and kind and fun she is and how well she adapts to change x I felt really emotional that day, a lot of personal things going on and it can be extremely emotionally draining co-parenting when you have a difficult relationship."

The former Coronation Street star continued: "I couldn’t book online for some reason and Matilda really wanted to go, I had bad mum guilt as I’m up and down from London for work at the moment and I wanted Matilda to feel loved and special. There was no tables available though and the couple behind me were so kind they could see how much my little girl wanted to go and they gave us their table x If you see this Thankyou my little girl was made up xxx."
