Helen Skelton issues statement over her TV future and is 'grateful and overwhelmed'

Helen Skelton has issued an update over her TV career - and said: "It's back." The BBC Strictly Come Dancing star, who reached the final back in 2022, issued an update ahead of Channel 5 show On The Farm returning to the airwaves this week.

Helen typed: "On the Farm is back on your telly tonight myself @thejuleshudson and the gang have plenty of lambs, goats, foals and fun. @channel5_tv @onthefarmc5 8pm always grateful to be part of this gang , always overwhelmed by the messages and love we get for this show celebrating farming, food producers and spring time."

"Really looking forward to watching you and the gang tonight, you always make the programme so enjoyable," a fan replied. "Really looking forward to seeing you all. Amazing programme. Lovely people!" another Instagram user typed.

"oooh exciting news !!!!! ps...dont forget the Pork Pie Competition at Darfield Cricket Club," another wrote. "Lovely to see you all back on the Farm,always exciting,visited last year with a friend ,was a great day good weather and really good food," another agreed.

The programme, broadcast from Cannon Hall Farm in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, has been a mainstay of Channel 5 for several years, flipping between Winter on the Farm and Springtime on the Farm twice a year, and always hosted by former Strictly Come Dancing runner-up Helen.
