Sparks Are Flying for Emily and Marcello in ‘Emily in Paris’ Season 4 Part 2 Trailer
The finale of Emily in Paris season 3 left viewers in absolute shock as the wedding of the season turned into a big truth fest that left multiple people, including Emily, brokenhearted. When a love triangle turns into something more, things are bound to get messy. But with some sparks flying between Emily and Gabriel again—and tensions high among the entire group c/o Camille's outburst—there's definitely more drama to look forward to. So what can we expect next?
Here's everything you need to know about Emily in Paris season 4.
When will Emily in Paris season 4 premiere?
You better get your bags ready for a summer getaway, because Netflix just revealed the season 4 premiere date and it's the perfect vacation.
Netflix is splitting the season into two parts (we know, we know) and so now we have TWO release dates.
Part 1 is coming out on August 15, while part 2 will be released on September 12. Consider it one final goodbye to the summer.
Is there a trailer?
Oui! Netflix and Lily Collins dropped the official trailer for Emily in Paris season 4 on July 22 ahead of the Paris Olympics. Oh, and there's a ton of drama waiting to unfold in the latest season.
And of course, we got a second trailer to kick off part 2 which includes a very interesting new love interest: Marcello. As Emily starts to explore a new city, Rome, she has her sights set on more than just the amazing food and trying to close a deal for Agence Grateau.
Who is in the Emily in Paris season 4 cast?
While the Emily in Paris season 4 cast has yet to be confirmed, we’d say we’re probs qualified enough to take a good guess at who will likely be appearing, starting with:
Lily Collins as Emily
Ashley Park as Mindy
Lucas Bravo as Gabriel
Camille Razat as Camille
Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie
Samuel Arnold as Julien
Bruno Gouery as Luc
William Abadie as Antoine
Lucien Laviscount as Alfie
Oh, and P.S. French first lady Brigitte Macron is set to make a cameo in the upcoming season!!! On April 3, the exciting news broke via the Daily Mail, which obtained snaps of her on set with Lily and the rest of the cast.
A reminder that in season 1, Macron was referenced after she shared one of Emily’s social media posts with her followers—a move that ultimately wound up changing the protagonist's life—but never actually made an official appearance IRL.
During her December 2022 appearance on The Late Show, Lily opened up to Stephen Colbert about how the political figure was "actually a really big fan of the show." Loving this full-circle moment for her!
What do we know about the Emily in Paris season 4 plot?
Not much is known about the plot of Emily in Paris season 4, but Lily Collins is doing the lord’s work and giving fans some very early (and, yeah, very vague) teases about what’s in store for the upcoming season.
“We are getting ready for season 4 of Emily in Paris and are so excited to see what’s next for Emily. It’s safe to say we ended on a dramatic note last season, and surprise! It does not end there,” she explained in a new video that was shown at Netflix’s Tudum fan event in São Paulo, Brazil. She also promised “answers” for all the big cliffhangers from season 3, including what's in store for Emily and Gabriel.
In addition to cliffhanger answers and drama, Lily let fans know that Emily will be venturing away from Paris in the upcoming season.
“What I can tell is we have more fun, more fashion, and, of course, more drama in store for you all,” she added. “Emily is going to have to decide if everything she’s ever wanted is really what she needs, and while Emily’s heart will always remain true to Paris, her life takes some unexpected twists this season. Don’t be surprised to find her on a Roman holiday.”
Is there gonna be an Emily in Paris season 5?
Well, here's a very interesting update...
Series creator Darren Starr auctioned off a walk-on role for season 5 as a part of the amfAR Gala at the Cannes Film Festival. However, according to Netflix, the show hasn't been officially renewed just yet, Variety has reported. Talk about awkward for the winner...
The item does also include tickets to the season 4 premiere and the official website does say that it is "contingent upon season 5 pickup," but Variety notes that Winnie Harlow and Paris Jackson, who were presenting the item at the gala, "said that Season 5 of the popular series is scheduled to begin shooting in mid 2025."
So, what is the truth?!
