Hero East Lothian police dog helps find vulnerable man missing from caravan park

Police Scotland have praised the actions of one of their trained police dogs who helped locate a 'vulnerable' East Lothian pensioner.

Police dog Sully was called into action on Thursday, June 27, as officers grew concerned for the missing individual who had not been seen for hours.

PD Sully searched an East Lothian field and was able to find the man.

Police Scotland took to social media to praise the dog for carrying out her duties, describing her work as "amazing".

Writing on X, formally known as Twitter, Police Scotland Dogs said: "#PDSully was amazing today, finding a missing, vulnerable, 79-year-old male who'd been missing for hours in East Lothian.
