Hershey Bears Forward Kale Kessy Taken to Hospital After Being Knocked Unconscious During Fight

Hershey Bears forward Kale Kessy was taken to hospital after he was knocked unconscious in a fight with the Charlotte Checkers’ Derek Sheppard in the second period of a Bears – Checkers game at Hershey’s Giant Center on Tuesday, February 25.

According to the Bears, Kessy lost and regained consciousness on the ice and was “alert and in a stable condition” before he was transported to a local medical facility.

The Bears said that Kessy told his teammates to “go win the game” before he was stretchered off the ice.
