The Comedy Pet Photo Awards reveal the images shortlisted in this years competition. Among the top finalists, a cat stuck in a wall, a Kung Fu dog, and a headless horse.
The images were chosen for their photographic quality as well as their comedic value by a panel of expert judges. All 30 finalists will be eligible for the People’s Choice Category, where the public get to vote via the website for their favorite funny pet. The vote is open from May 10 and closes on June 2.
The 2024 Comedy Pet winners will be announced on June 6, 2024.

Security footage captured the hilarious moment a little dog proved she had big energy, scaring the life out of a roofing contractor who was putting up Christmas lights in a town in England recently.The video shows little Dollie the cocker spaniel going berserk, frightening the worker to the point where he jumped on top of a car to escape the tiny terror, the dog’s owner said.“We were getting our outside Christmas lights put up and called a local firm Evergreen to come out,” homeowner Emma Reece told Storyful.“When my partner Andrew answered the door, the dog Dollie, who is a tiny, 2-year-old cocker spaniel, ran out and clearly took a disliking to one of the roofers,” she continued.“He ran away and jumped on top of a car,” she said. “Wish that was on the video. The holidays aren’t cheap: The average American will spend over $2,000 this season, according to a recent study. Commissioned by Achieve and conducted by Talker Research, the survey of 2,000 Americans who celebrate a winter holiday examined the cost breakdown of the holiday season — as well as how Americans have been impacted by 2024’s financially challenging climate. According to the results, the most expensive holiday category is transportation as those planning to travel this year (64%) will spend $846 on average. “Putting on” the holidays is the next most expensive ticket: Respondents reported they’ll spend $658, on average, in this category. Most expensive items include holiday food and refreshments ($155), throwing parties ($123) and holiday clothing and outfits ($107). The gifts category is next on the list. On average, Americans plan to spend $559 on their loved ones this year, with the most money being spent on kids ($117) and partners ($92).
