Hillary Clinton Plans Pre-Election Book Tour for New Memoir

Hillary Clinton has unveiled plans for a five-city book tour in September and October for her new memoir, coming just before the U.S. Presidential election.

The former First Lady and U.S. Senator’s latest book, Something Lost, Something Gained: Reflections on Life, Love, and Liberty, was announced on Tuesday and is set to premiere on Sept. 17 from Simon & Schuster. As part of her marketing tour, Clinton and a moderator will talk about politics, democracy and her own life, according to Innovation Arts and Entertainment, which is producing the book tour.

“I can’t wait to hit the road and talk about Something Lost, Something Gained with you in person. I hope you can join me for wide-ranging conversations that go behind the scenes and include never-before told stories,” Clinton said in a statement. “We’ll discuss the state of our politics and creating the future we want for our children and grandchildren and, most of all, have some fun while we’re at it!”

The multi-city tour will start in Washington, D.C. on Sept 16, ahead of stops in Boston, San Francisco, Chicago and a concluding date in Seattle on Oct. 20.

Since leaving the White House led by husband President Bill Clinton, and losing her own presidential bid to Donald Trump in 2016, the former U.S. Secretary of State had a four-part Hulu documentary, Hillary, made about her life and which bowed at Sundance.

Clinton has written ten earlier books, is host of the podcast You and Me Both, and launched the production studio HiddenLight Productions.
