Hillary Clinton Wears Symbolic ‘Peace on Earth’ Brooch and Power Suit for Donald Trump’s 2025 Inauguration With Bill Clinton
Hillary Clinton arrived at Donald Trump‘s 2025 presidential inauguration on Monday, wearing a dark blue pantsuit. Her coat, which featured a single top button, was also adorned with a gold-and-blue pin on her left side. The former Secretary of State coordinated with her husband, former U.S. President Bill Clinton, who wore a dark navy suit and blue tie.
Hillary accessorized her look with the Peace on Earth brooch created by jewelry designer Ann Hand. The piece featured a gold dove flying above a globe. Hillary has previously worn the accessory on different occasions.

Hillary and Bill Clinton were announced at the Capitol Rotunda, as they addressed the crowd. Former Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush also wore blue suits and blue ties, the color of the Democratic Party.
Hillary has often embraced pantsuits, which she wore throughout her time as first lady, New York State Senator, Secretary of State in Obama’s administration and her own history-making runs for President in 2008 and 2016.
Hillary Clinton’s first inaugural gown, worn in 1993 when her husband was sworn in as the 42nd president, was a violet-beaded sheath gown with an iridescent blue velvet silk mousseline overskirt. It was designed by Sarah Phillips and made by costume designer Barbara Matera. It’s on display at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, alongside about two dozen other gowns from the museum’s “Changing Times, Changing First Ladies” collection.
At Jimmy Carter’s state funeral service earlier this month, Clinton also wore a brooch, but one of a patriotic bald eagle with the U.S flag. The bald eagle has been a significant symbol of the United States since 1782, when it was chosen as the national emblem.
Donald Trump’s second inauguration as the 47th President of the United States took place on Monday in Washington, D.C. Following tradition, the day began with a worship service at St. John’s Episcopal Church and a White House meeting between incoming and outgoing presidents.
The mandated swearing-in ceremony happened on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol. Following the inauguration, guests and supporters of the President are expected to attend three evening celebrations, including the Commander in Chief Ball, Liberty Inaugural Ball and Starlight Ball.
