Hoda Kotb's Daughters Rock 'Go Taylor's Boyfriend' Shirts Ahead of Super Bowl 2024: 'We Ready!'
The 'Today' hosts daughters Haley Joy, 6, and Hope Catherine, 4, showed their Chiefs spirit ahead of the big game
Hoda Kotb and her daughters are . . . ready for it.
The Today show host showed off her kids' timely Super Bowl 2024 tees, which featured a fun nod to "Anti-Hero" singer Taylor Swift. In two Instagram posts, Kotb, 59, captured the girls' "Go Taylor's Boyfriend" shirts, which were designed in the colors of the Kansas City Chiefs. They even featured a KC-inspired helmet with the number 87.
The shirts are, of course, a reference to Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Chiefs, who is taking the field against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night.
"We ready!!!!!" Kotb captioned a photo of her daughters, Haley Joy, 6, and Hope Catherine, 4. Other photos showed a Chiefs-themed Super Bowl party for Kotb's family. She wore a denim jacket with the KC arrowhead logo, while her family members sported football jerseys in KC's signature red color.
Swift, 34, was in attendance at the Super Bowl on Sunday night, and cameras captured her suite early in the broadcast. The popstar was seen chatting with musician Ice Spice and her longtime friend, Blake Lively ahead of the game's start.
A pre-show interview with Kelce, 34, recapped their ultra-public relationship — which began sometime before Swift attended at Chiefs game in September. "It’s been nothing but fun,” Kelce said of Swift cheering him on throughout the season. “We’ve both been learning about this lifestyle knowing that I brought her into the football world.”
As for Kotb, the broadcaster isn't a longtime Chiefs fan. She's been a vocal supporter of the New Orleans Saits in years past. "I thought it was picture perfect," Kotb said in 2014 of the team's past Super Bowl win. "I think New Orleans gets in your blood. The Saints never leave it when they get in there. It's funny because I walk around Manhattan and people say 'Hey, Go Saints!' There are tons of Saints fans here too."
