Yahoo News Holby City is lining up a shock for Kian Madani with appearance of ex's son
Holby City is set to air a big shock for Kian Madani (Ramin Karimloo) next week as a patient at the hospital causes very painful memories of his former girlfriend Bea to resurface.
Kian's hidden fling with his colleague Jac Naylor (Rosie Marcel) continues to heat up next week as they sneak off for secret trysts together on shift and Kian is keen to establish their relationship. But Jac is rather more uncertain and she becomes increasingly uncomfortable when she realises that rumours are starting to circulate among the staff about Kian's love life.
Things get worse for Kian when a boy named Phoenix (Joshua Glenister) is brought onto the ward after passing out during a rugby game and reveals that his mum passed away at the hospital recently.

Shocked, Kian realises that Phoenix is the son of his former girlfriend Bea, who passed away from a heart condition in December after Kian performed unauthorised surgery on her in an attempt to save her life.
Phoenix is concerned that he has inherited his mum's condition but Kian is thrown completely off balance by Phoenix's presence, as very painful memories resurface.
Later on Jac discovers something potentially suspicious about Kestrel which could have significant consequences but Kian can't focus, as he begins to unravel after Phoenix brings up the past.
The question also remains of what Kian has been up to with a mysterious woman called Sarah Jane after last week's episode saw him meet with her in secret, hand over cash in exchange for a brown envelope and later take a pill that was inside the envelope.
Will Kian be able to hold things together when his romance with Jac is on the line?
