Holly Willoughby apologises for swearing during Dancing on Ice
Dancing on Ice spoilers follow.
Dancing on Ice host Holly Willoughby had to apologise for swearing in tonight’s (January 28) episode after Stephen Mulhern gave her a fright.
The ITV show returned tonight for its third episode of the sixteenth series, with the remaining couples taking to the ice for a movie-themed week.
As the hosting duo introduced Roxy Shahidi and Sylvain Longchambon ahead of their Beetlejuice-themed performance, Mulhern made his fellow presenter jump as he made a loud noise just as Holly mentioned the 'fright' of their lives.

Evidently surprised by Mulhern’s amusing prank, Willoughby called him a “stupid boy”, but not after she appeared to mutter “you f**ker” under her breath as she had a grin on her face.
The potential expletive was later referenced in the show, with Willoughby saying: “A little earlier on, Stephen may have made me jump. I think it may have sounded like a naughty word may have slipped out – but I don’t think I did.
“I’m sorry if that’s what you thought you may have heard, but I’ll be sure to watch it back on ITVX to make sure I didn’t [swear],” she quipped, with the audience laughing at the whole incident.

Despite Willoughby maintaining that she didn’t swear, viewers on social media seemed to be adamant that she did, with one fan writing on X: “Holly Willoughby definitely just dropped an f bomb #dancingonice #doi”
“Is Holly dropping F bombs on dancing on ice?? #dancingonice #HollyWilloughby #itv” wrote another fan, though one viewer noted: “I’d love it [if she swore] but she’s too experienced for that. She was starting to say ‘oh for god’s sake.’”
Dancing on Ice airs on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
