Holly Willoughby came a cropper when she fell down the stairs on Celebrity Juice.

The TV star, 41, returned to the comedy panel show for its last instalment as it wraps up after 14 years.

A clip from the finale reveals that, during one segment, she slipped and fell backwards down the stairs.

This Morning star Willoughby, who was a team captain on the show for many years, was playing a game which saw her and the other stars running through the audience.

She and her friend Fearne Cotton, who was also one of the original captains, were wrestling over a piece of card when she tumbled backwards.

The presenter reached out and tried to grab at somebody's top in a bid to stay up.

But she ended up slipping down a couple of steps.

The clip then cut to the panel, where Emily Atack was seen looking on in horror.

Luckily, Willoughby did not appear to be hurt.

It was confirmed this summer that Celebrity Juice had been axed.

Keith Lemon – who has hosted the panel show for 26 series since 2008 – said at the time: "I remember doing the first episode thinking wow that was fun!

"In the V/O in opening titles I said it was the best telly show on telly.

"Whatever you thought of it, it was definitely the best fun making it."

He added: "An amazing team, and amazing guests, but all good things must come to an end.

"I’ll miss it, and everyone so much, but on to the next chapter and I look forward to going out in style on the specials!

"All t’ best and good luck with ya business!"

Celebrity Juice's send-off episode will air at 10pm on ITV2 on Thursday (8 December).
