Holly Willoughby shows off new shorter haircut

Brand new show, brand new haircut.

National-treasure-in-waiting Holly Willoughby has wowed fans with a glimpse of her new ‘do after sharing a snap with her 1.4million followers on Instagram.

The 35-year-old This Morning presenter spent last night filming new dating show Meet the Parents, and captioned the photo “New show… new lil’ chop! @itvmeettheparents thanks everyone who came down to watch tonight! #meettheparents #love’”

Daytime TV viewers have grown used to Holly’s below-the-shoulder waves, but her new look was a big hit on the social media site, with compliments like ‘looking stunning’, ‘the shorter the better’ and ‘very nice haircut’ flooding the comments box.

The toe-curling premise of the new show sees contestants go on a date with their potential match’s parents and get the chance to grill them in excruciating detail. Relationship histories, embarrassing stories, filthy habits – it’s all fair game.

While the parents are being quizzed, the guys and girls hoping to be chosen will see and hear everything, and have absolutely no control over what their parents are revealing. Yikes!

However, if their parents do end up spilling a few too many beans, they have the chance to make one urgent phone call to speak to them.

“We all know how embarrassing parents can be and nobody knows you better than they do,” Holly explains. “I can’t wait to hear what humiliating secrets they’ll be revealing and see who will regret leaving their love life in the hands of their parents”
