Hollyoaks has aired the fallout of Leah Barnes and Mason Chen-Williams' shocking twist.

Earlier this week, an irate Mason posted photos of a drunken Leah on his Men's First forum and later lied to Charlie Dean by claiming he'd slept with Leah.

Tuesday's (December 13) first-look episode featured Mason facing backlash as the party continued when numerous students accused him of taking advantage of Leah while she was passed out drunk.

Mason felt he was backed into a corner so he admitted he'd lied to keep from being accused of assaulting Leah. However, his fellow students weren't sure what to believe since Mason had been acting so creepily.

Luckily for Mason, his sister Serena came to his rescue by playing everyone the voicemail Mason had left her, which proved he hadn't actually assaulted Leah.

Serena and sister Lizzie were still furious with Mason for his misogynistic lies, yet he was surprisingly defended by cousin Shing Lin insisting it was nothing too serious.

"I think he knows what he did was wrong. I think it's all still raw," Shing Lin insisted as Mason boiled.

Mason angrily turned on his sisters by ordering them to "shut up", then retreated once again to the Men's First Forum to rant about the women in his life.

Now, Leah will have to deal with the consequences of Mason posting drunken photos of her online — with actress Ela-May Demircan explaining that her actions will disappoint dad Ste Hay.

"Leah and Ste have already had conversations about making the right choices, especially when it comes to drinking, and it's as if she's ignored everything they talked about," the actress said.

"But, he also reminds her that this will eventually all blow over and become last week's chippy paper."
