Yahoo News Hollyoaks airs more twists in mystery Carter Shepherd storyline

Hollyoaks has aired more twists in the mysterious Carter Shepherd storyline.
In recent weeks, Hollyoaks High School headteacher Carter struck up a friendship with John Paul McQueen leading fans to question his motives.
Recently it was revealed that Carter is the father of student Freya, who was injured in last year's minibus crash which was caused by John Paul. Following the revelation, Goldie McQueen wondered if Carter's friendship with John Paul was part of a revenge scheme.

In tonight's (September 19) first look episode Hunter's family tried to persuade him not to give up on his career as a teacher after student Freya tried to kiss him.
Still on edge after being the victim of a homophobic attack back in July, John Paul was approached by headteacher Carter who offered to help him deal with the aftermath of the attack.
During the conversation, Carter brought up John Paul's former student and rapist, Finn O'Connor, before telling John Paul to let him help.
"If you would meet me later I think I could help you," Carter told John Paul adding that he "won't regret it".
In order to help John Paul, Carter encouraged him to face his demons by returning to the place he was attacked - The Loft.
After seeing John Paul chatting enthusiastically to a man named Billy, Carter approached the stranger telling him to leave John Paul alone - but what is Carter up to?

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the episode Dilly pleaded with Ethan not to tell anyone that Rafe is dying and Ethan admitted to Sienna that he kissed Dilly. When Ethan begged Sienna to put an end to the scheme and choose between himself and Rafe, Sienna chose Rafe.
"You destroy everything you touch, I deserve better than this, and I deserve better than you," Ethan told Sienna.
Following their breakup, Ethan invited Dilly to The Loft where the pair become intimate.
From Monday, September 25, Hollyoaks will stream first online via Channel 4 each weekday. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
