Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Thursday's (November 30) episode on Channel 4 streaming, which won't air until tomorrow on E4.

Hollyoaks has aired more drama for Romeo Nightingale and Peri Lomax, as a new detail about the night of Rayne Royce's death comes to light.

After last night's episode, in which Romeo attacked Peri during a night terror where he thought she was Rayne, she confessed to him that she was afraid he would kill her.

She said that she needed to go home to clear her head, but wouldn't reveal to anyone what happened during the incident.

However, it wasn't long before Nadira Valli came to see Peri for a talk and she admitted more than just Romeo's night terror...

"You have to promise, this stays between us okay? On the day Rayne died, I told the police me and Romeo were together the whole time, but that's not true. I didn't mean to but I lied to the police," she confessed.

Despite the argument between them, Peri and Romeo agreed that they did want to continue their relationship, in a conversation where Peri said she left the room on Rayne's last night after they had sex while Romeo showered, but definitely didn't murder the influencer.

Unknown to the both of them, Nadira went to the police station with what she had learned.

Sure enough, the authorities turned up at the Christmas choir concert and, in front of a large crowd, said that they were taking the duo down to the station to ask them some questions about their alibis.

Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.

Selected omnibus episodes are available via Prime Video.
