Hollyoaks airs shock stabbing at Grace and Freddie’s wedding
Hollyoaks spoilers follow from Friday's episode on Channel 4 streaming, which doesn't air on E4 until Monday.
Hollyoaks aired a shock stabbing at Grace Black and Freddie Roscoe's wedding in Friday's first look episode.
The day didn't get off to the best start when Warren Fox punched Freddie, telling him he was going to teach him a lesson he wouldn't forget.
But before he could enact his plan, he was distracted by Freddie's brother Robbie, giving Freddie time to make a run for it.
Viewers will know that the wedding has been part of a plan to break Grace out of prison and run away with their children, Lexi and Curtis, but the plan was thwarted when Robbie discovered Freddie had a fake passport ready for Grace.

Freddie admitted to Robbie that he had hid a gun in the ring cushion, which Lexi would be carrying. Robbie, who currently has custody of Freddie's daughter Lexi, threatened to report the couple, leading to Freddie tying him up in the Love Boat.
Robbie tried to get through to Freddie, telling him Lexi was just a child, but Freddie left him there and went off to the wedding.
At the registry office, Freddie's conscious got the better of him and he switched the ring cushions.
Grace arrived and followed Lexi down the aisle, where Freddie and Grace then became husband and wife.

However, when Grace reached down for the ring cushion she was stopped by Freddie, who said he wanted to tell her something.
"I've made a lot of mistakes in my life and I've learnt a lot of lessons," he said. "Often the hard way. So I want to make the following promises to you. I promise to always be honest. Because nothing good ever comes from a lie.
"I promise to keep all your secrets. No matter how dark or dirty," he continued as Grace got visibly bored. "I promise to always be patient. No more short cuts. No more trying to get rich quick schemes. I'm in this for the long haul. No matter how long it takes."
"For as long as what takes?" Grace asked.
"Until you get out of prison," Freddie responded, causing Grace to scream out. She grabbed the ring cushion and realised there was no gun.

Freddie insisted he loved her and would visit her all the time. But this wasn't enough for Grace, who called him "spineless" and "useless".
She then grabbed a metal shard that had been hidden in her flower bouquet and stabbed herself, insisting she had "made Curtis a promise" and did not want to break that promise.
Will Grace be OK?
