The Channel 4 show has recently been filming new scenes for Juliet Nightingale and Peri Lomax, as the two characters spend a weekend away together in Brighton to create treasured memories together, following Juliet's cancer diagnosis.

As part of the two episodes, Juliet and Peri discover all their belongings have gone missing – but fairy drag mother Danny comes to the rescue and offers them a lift back to Chester.

As part of the storyline, fans will also be treated to a new song from Danny, performed on The Love Boat.

"It's been really fun, and all the crew here are so lovely and happy," the drag star said. "I can't wait to share it with you all. It's ridiculous, in the best Hollyoaks way possible."

Speaking recently about her character Juliet's storyline, Niamh Blackshaw told Digital Spy: "It's going to be an emotional year, and I believe it will be a central story [in 2023]. It's going to be a long road and a tough journey and that's about all I can say.

"I know the fundamental journey, I just don't know how we are getting there. It is definitely something I am being told during the process, which adds to the reality in a way."

Danny is the reigning champion of RuPaul's Drag Race UK, having won the most recent series which aired last autumn.

Hollyoaks streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.

Selected omnibus episodes are available via Prime Video.
