Hollyoaks has confirmed a dark new story for Dave Chen-Williams.

Dave has been on a downward spiral ever since his wife Honour left the village after her marriage crumbled and she tried to kiss Tony Hutchinson.

Since then, Dave has been crashing with his brother Ethan and his girlfriend Sienna, though in upcoming scenes, Sienna is desperate for him to leave.

An anguished Dave insists he can't go back home because it would remind him of his marriage imploding. He spirals as he finds some drugs from the two girls he met at The Loft.

Meanwhile, Sienna is determined to get Dave out so she calls together Mason and Lizzie to plan a family meal where they can show their dad how much they need him.

Dave ends up having a troubling encounter with Felix in the village following the family meal, as Ethan is left scrambling to explain the drugs to Sienna.

Eventually, Dave admits to Sienna that Ethan had nothing to do with bringing drugs into her home. Though Sienna is relieved by the revelation, it's unclear if she can work through her trust issues with Ethan.

Lizzie remains deeply concerned for her father's well-being, leading her to reach out to Sam for help in convincing Dave to turn things around.

Sam is still wounded by all of the lies within the family and he refuses to get involved. Lizzie next turns to Ethan and Sienna for help in trying to save her dad.

Lizzie also has some important advice encouraging the couple not to let Dave's issues get in between them. Will they follow Lizzie's advice?

These scenes will air next week.
