Yahoo News Hollyoaks' Diane Hutchinson admits her affair to Tony
Diane Hutchinson has confessed the truth — or at least the partial truth — about her affair to husband Tony in Hollyoaks.
Tony (Nick Pickard) has grown suspicious that his wife had been unfaithful while he was being held captive by Breda McQueen, after discovering a new diamond pendant she was wearing.
Little did Tony know that his own father Edward (Joe McGann) was the one fooling around with his wife behind his back while he was away.
In Friday's (February 28) first-look episode, Edward continued taunting his son with hints that Diane had been unfaithful.

Diane was totally wracked with guilt over her secret, confessing what she'd done to Leela Lomax (Kirsty-Leigh Porter) in the hopes of getting some advice. Leela suggested the best course of action was to forgive herself because of Tony's track record.
"If you ask me, you are well within your rights to think that he'd done a runner again," she argued. "Nothing is to be gained from coming clean."
Meanwhile, Tony was trying to to dismiss his suspicions and even put the right foot forward by spending some quality time Diane — though it grew to be unbearable when they tried to make love.
He finally asked point blank: "Just tell me the truth, when I was with Breda, did you sleep with another man?"

Tony was crestfallen when Diane tearfully nodded that indeed she had been unfaithful — leaving off the episode on a bombshell cliffhanger!
Diane's confession will lead Tony down a dark road next week as he betrays his wife, while Edward continues his plot to win back Diane by getting his daughter Verity (Eva O'Hara) involved.
Hollyoaks airs Mondays through Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing on E4 at 7pm.
