Hollyoaks' Grace reveals violent plan ahead of prison break wedding

Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks spoilers follow from Thursday's episode on Channel 4 streaming, which doesn't air on E4 until Friday.

Drama looms large on Hollyoaks as Grace Black has hatched a detailed plan to escape from prison during her big day with Freddie Roscoe.

In tonight's (June 6) streaming episode, Grace enlisted the help of her fiancé to make a run during their wedding.

However, things went awry when Freddie realised the money they had stashed away to flee together with their kids had been taken by Warren Fox to buy baby furniture for Mercedes McQueens' twins.

When visiting Grace in prison the day before the nuptials, Freddie told her the money was gone.

"We're back to square one," he said. "Without the money, we can't get through with the plan. We can't get married tomorrow."

A livid Grace vowed revenge on both Warren and Mercedes and convinced Freddie to stick with their original plan.

After his visit, Freddie met with a friend of Grace's who handed him a backpack with precious information about the escape plan.

Grace had thought about everything, asking Freddie to invite her best friend Cindy Cunningham to make the ceremony look real, having Lexi as the ring bearer and hiding a gun in one of the ring pillows for Freddie to plant at the registry office before the wedding.

Confronted by Mercedes, Freddie was reminded of their agreement to bring Warren down for Hunter's death, but he insisted that all he cared about were Grace and the children, and their deal was off.

In the final scenes, Ethan confessed to Warren he had to come clean to Freddie about the van and the money, resulting in Warren promising Freddie would pay on his wedding day.

Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.

Selected omnibus episodes are available via Prime Video.
