Hollyoaks hints at Carter Shepherd secret as Goldie grows suspicious
Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks will hint at newcomer Carter Shepherd's dark secret in upcoming scenes as Goldie McQueen grows suspicious of him.

However, in next week's episodes, Goldie is sure that Carter has a sinister hidden motive behind this friendship with her cousin — who was the driver behind the minibus crash that left Freya with life-changing injuries — and she's determined to find out what it is.

And it appears Goldie is right to be suspicious, as Carter is spotted taking a mystery phone call in which he mentions John Paul's name shortly after leaving the house. What is Carter up to?

James Sutton, who plays John Paul, also hinted that Carter isn't to be completely trusted, telling us: "[John Paul] is just very lost and very vulnerable and he's looking for something and for someone and we just have to hope that no one take advantage of that…"
