N’aww, this is pretty ruddy adorable.
Last night we saw a whole load of celebs - including Jamie Laing, Anthea Turner, and Alexandra Burke, take part in a very special version of channel 4′s hit dating series ‘First Dates’ in aid of the channel’s Stand Up To Cancer week of programming.
Although the show was mostly done purely for our entertainment, it seems as though it actually worked wonders for Hollyoaks actress, Jorgie Porter, who hit it off with Craig, a 31-year-old personal trainer that she was matched with on the show, and the two are now girlfriend and boyfriend.
We love when they all live happily ever after <3.
The 27-year-old actress was seen opening up to Craig about her personal life, including her father leaving her family when she was just a young girl, and admitting that her dad’s actions left her afraid of commitment.
Jorgie explained: “I probably think that actually men will just always disappear so maybe I don’t get too attached because in the end they’ll just go anyway.”
However, the star was understandably thrilled, and equally stunned, to find a man that she actually got along with on a charity TV show, gushing to the camera: “It really is important to have fun on a date.
“I don’t think I stopped laughing actually. Am I too keen though? This is keen.”
Still, Craig clearly didn’t mind how ‘keen’ she was, with the duo going on a second date… And then a third…. And Jorgie even taking her new beau as her plus one to a swanky awards show.
Talk about love finding you when you least expect it, eh?
Unfortunately, the other celebs didn’t have quite as much luck as Jorge, although Alexandra Burke did go on a second date with the model she was paired with, Louis.
Still, if there’s one happy couple at the end of it, it’s all worth it - right?
