Hollyoaks' Kitty Draper has backstory revealed
Hollyoaks spoilers follow from Monday's episode on Channel 4 streaming, which doesn't air on E4 until Tuesday.
Kitty Draper had her backstory revealed on Hollyoaks as she began to wrestle with the prospect of leaving the village.
Kitty arrived in Hollyoaks earlier this year following the events of the huge car crash, with the character stealing the identity of her deceased companion as a result of the collision.
Kitty has harboured the secret ever since, even going as far as taking the role of the dead woman’s job as a trainee nurse, but recent scenes have seen the character spiral after she spotted Declan Hawthorne.

The preacher has been colluding with Carter Shepherd in order to recruit members to their conversion therapy clinic, with Ro Lomax being the latest target in their scheme.
Tonight’s (April 22) first-look episode began with Kitty reeling from spotting Declan, making a pledge to leave the village as she told Tony and Diane that she wouldn’t be able to look after Ro.
Eager to leave, Kitty went to Darren after all the local taxi firms came up empty handed, but he was having his own troubles with Ste and Lucas Hay, the latter of whom had also been targeted by Carter and Declan.
Accompanied by Freddie, Kitty later went to Mercedes’ garage in order to snag a ticket out to get away from Declan, who was revealed to be her father.

She tearfully detailed her history with Declan, including his attempts to deny her identity, with Freddie assuring Kitty that Declan had no right to act like her father.
Unbeknownst to them, their conversation and subsequent kiss was witnessed by Ro, who later announced himself as Freddie had to go elsewhere. Kitty later told Ro to head to school, nervous at the prospect of Declan finding her…
Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
