Yahoo News Hollyoaks lining up a huge exit story for Rayne Royce

Hollyoaks star Jemma Donovan is leaving the show after a dramatic nine-month stint as scheming Rayne Royce.
The actress's final scenes will air later this month as part of a special event week for the soap, which includes an hour-long special.
Rayne will be killed off during the pool party that she has organised at a luxury manor house.
The ambitious influencer has arranged the event as a publicity stunt, hoping to drum up interest in her relationship with Romeo Nightingale so they can appear on reality show Love Cave together.

During a dinner party game, all of Rayne's gathered guests name her when asked who they'd kill if given the chance.
This means that there will be no shortage of suspects when Rayne is ultimately found dead for real later that day.
Rayne's exit kicks off a huge new whodunit storyline for Hollyoaks, which will run over the coming months.
Romeo, Prince, Hunter, Zoe, Nadira, Lizzie, Faye, Phoenix and Lacey will be among the potential suspects in the case.

Peri will also be in the mix after she manages to escape from her current ordeal with Rayne's ex-boyfriend Brent, who's holding her captive.
Jemma joined the cast of Hollyoaks late last year after finishing up her three-year stint as Harlow Robinson on Neighbours.
With Rayne's manipulative behaviour causing chaos in the village over the past few months, Digital Spy understands that it was always the plan for her story to culminate in this murder mystery.
Speaking about her departure, Jemma Donovan commented: "I am so excited to announce that Rayne's reign is finally coming to an end with an incredible stunt week that I am over the moon to share with you guys.
"I think it's going to be full of drama, full of love, full of chaos but the big question is... who Did It? And I'm so excited for the speculation. I can't tell you, but it's a good one so hope you all enjoy!"

The new storyline kicks off a fresh era for Hollyoaks, with the show continuing its digital-first strategy.
Episodes will drop first on Channel 4's streaming service at 7.30pm each weekday evening, before getting a linear transmission on E4 at 7pm the following day.
There will no longer be a Channel 4 main channel screening at 6.30pm, but full episodes will be uploaded onto YouTube after one week, providing another platform for catch-up opportunities.

From Monday, September 25, Hollyoaks will stream first online via Channel 4 each weekday. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
