Hollyoaks' Ro Hutchinson confronts Declan in tense scenes
Hollyoaks spoilers follow from Tuesday's episode on Channel 4 streaming, which doesn't air on E4 until Wednesday.
Ro Hutchinson confronted Declan Hawthorne on Hollyoaks tonight (April 23), leading to a tense exchange in the ongoing conversion therapy storyline.
Ro, who has recently been exploring their gender identity, has been the latest target for Declan and Carter Shepherd's religious conversion group, which has also seen Lucas Hay suppress his own sexuality.
In yesterday's (April 22) first-look episode, Kitty Draper revealed why she was in a rush to leave the village, telling Freddie Roscoe that Declan is her father.

Ro, who was hidden in the garage, heard this conversation, and tonight's episode began as he ignored Kitty's advice to be careful around Declan, with Ro confronting them at Hollyoaks High.
Ro began to record Declan as he outlined the preacher's hatred of the LGBTQ+ community, with Declan's anger growing as his intimidation forced Ro to trip over. He still managed to send the video to Kitty, with Freddie subsequently rushing to the school to help Ro.
Just as Declan began to chastise Ro, Freddie arrived to make his presence known, urging Declan to leave the village or face the consequences. Not willing to back down, Freddie lunged for Declan, and later informed both Ro and Kitty that he had scurried off.

Though Freddie thought the ordeal was over, Kitty assured him that her father never takes no for an answer. It seemed like her words would be proved right as Declan hopped in a taxi to leave town, but he quickly changed his plans as he spotted Kitty.
How will he react to spotting his daughter? And just how much trouble is Kitty in?
