Hollyoaks star Jessica Fox shares inspiring message with fans on 40th birthday

Hollyoaks star Jessica Fox has shared an inspiring message with fans to mark her 40th birthday.

The actress, who has been a mainstay of the Channel 4 soap since 2005 as Nancy Osborne, shared an Instagram carousel starting with a throwback to herself 10 years ago, admitting she was going through a difficult time back then.

"What a difference a decade makes: Here I am turning 30, in Ibiza (there was a yacht involved). When I look at these photos I think 'f**k me, I look fantastic'," Jessica began.

"But I also know I had just come out of an unhealthy relationship. I was going through a pretty serious health scare, a financial shitstorm that threatened everything I had worked so hard for and with years of hindsight, can admit some form of disordered eating. I was utterly miserable.

"The picture today could not be more different," the star continued on the series of pictures, which also include her with husband Nicholas Willes and newborn baby River.

"I’m married to a man I adore, who cherishes all of me. The good, bad and quite often a bit mad. We have a house we are turning into our home. I am mother to the most beautiful, the funniest, curious little lad and I couldn’t love him more if I tried.

"It might not be as glamorous. I may be fatter, after breast feeding definitely saggier but f**k me, I have never been happier."
