Home and Away's Tane vows to leave Summer Bay in new scenes

Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.

Home and Away's Tane Parata questions his future in Summer Bay next week after his latest drama with Felicity Newman.

The gym boss starts to wonder whether he can ever truly move on with his life if he's living in the same town as his estranged wife.

In next week's UK-pace scenes on Channel 5, Tane's friend Mackenzie Booth tells him the truth about her affair with Levi Fowler.

Tane is instantly disapproving, challenging Mac to consider whether she really wants to invest so much time and effort into a man who'd cruelly cheat on his wife.

Mac feels harshly judged by Tane's comments, so he later apologises and admits that he was projecting his own recent marriage issues onto her.

Tane explains that he recently slept with Felicity, but realised it was the wrong decision and took some time out in New Zealand to clear his head.

Later in the week, Tane tells Mali Hudson that he now wants to move back to New Zealand permanently as there isn't much left for him in the Bay.

Mali decides to warn Felicity, who rushes to confront Tane and questions why she had to hear the news from Mali.

Tane explains his reasons and clarifies that he isn't leaving town to hurt her. Felicity questions the need for such a drastic move, insisting that the Bay is big enough for both of them.

As conversation turns to the inevitability of them dating other people in the future, Felicity promises Tane that she'll always want the best for him and she's ready to move on.

Reassured by Felicity's encouraging words, Tane agrees to stick around for now – but can Felicity stay true to her promises?
