Home Bargains' £6 cabin bag for Jet2 and Ryanair flights 'fits absolutely loads'

Home Bargains has wowed customers with its new carry-on bag, priced at £6.

The cabin-sized luggage is compatible with several major airlines, including Jet2 and Ryanair. Originally retailing at £14.99, the store's Bordlite Under Seat Cabin Bag has seen a dramatic price cut of 60%, now available for just £5.99.

The retailer showcased the bag on Instagram, demonstrating how much space there is to pack essentials in. Home Bargains captioned the post: "Breeze through the airport without any extra charges, £5.99. Available online."

Shoppers have been quick to express their approval in the comments, reports Wales Online. One user responded: "This looks so good."

Available in two shades - dark grey and light grey - the Home Bargains Bordlite Under Seat Cabin Bag is designed to fit snugly under the seat. This is handy if overhead locker space is too full during your travels.

Crafted from 'durable' woven 600D showerproof polyester, the bag promises to withstand the rigours of travel. It includes two carry handles with a Velcro grip, alongside two side compartments and two mesh pockets for organised packing.

The bag also comes with a sturdy base and boasts a capacity of 20L. It measures 40 x 20 x 25cm.

Under Ryanair's Priority and two Cabin Bags scheme, passengers are permitted to bring a small personal bag (40 x 20 x 25cm) that fits under the seat in front of them, as well as a 10kg bag (55 x 40 x 20cm) for overhead locker storage.

Jet2 allows one piece of hand luggage onboard at no extra cost, provided it weighs no more than 10kg and measures no larger than 56cm x 45cm x 25cm, including wheels and handles. As for Easyjet, each passenger is allowed one small cabin bag on board free of charge, which must not exceed 45 x 36 x 20cm in size.
