Home Bargains' £6 Jet2 and Ryanair-approved carry-on bag 'fits absolutely loads'

Home Bargains has impressed shoppers with its latest carry-on bag that only costs £6. The cabin bag is suitable for many mainstream airlines, including Jet2 and Ryanair.

The store's Bordlite Under Seat Cabin Bag is ideal to use for weekend getaways, city breaks and short business trips. It was originally £14.99, but has been reduced by 60% down to £5.99.

Taking to Instagram, the budget retailer uploaded a video of the bag in action, with someone filling it with essentials. In the caption, Home Bargains wrote: "Breeze through the airport without any extra charges, £5.99. Available online."

One impressed follower replied: "This looks so good." A second admitted: "Fab bag used it last year." Another claimed: "We have one each in our family and have flown 4 times with them, twice Ryanair bags not even glanced at. They fit plenty too."

A fourth declared: "Brilliant bag, you can get loads in." Another penned: "I have it. it's great." Kathryn added: "I have this. It was perfect for the flight, holiday. Holds more than you think!"

Home Bargains Bordlite Under Seat Cabin Bag comes in two colour options - dark grey and light grey. It is perfect to fit under seat during flight when room in overhead is becoming more precious.

It is made of 'durable' woven 600D shower proof polyester, meaning 'it is built to last long journeys'. The bag features two different carry handles with a velcro grip, as well as two side compartments and two mesh pockets.

There is also a base support, and overall the bag can has a capacity of 20L. Its dimensions are 40 x 20 x 25cm.

As part of its Priority & 2 Cabin Bags plan, Ryanair allows you to carry a small personal bag (40 x 20 x 25cm), which must fit under the seat in front of you. And a 10kg bag (55 x 40 x 20cm) onboard, to be stored in the overhead locker.

As for Jet2, you can take one piece of hand luggage onboard free of charge, as long as it weighs no more than 10kg and is no larger than 56cm x 45cm x 25cm (including wheels and handles). In terms of Easyjet, passengers can bring one small cabin bag per person on board for free - no more than 45 x 36 x 20cm.
