Home Bargains has launched a new beauty range called 'Dizzy Panda', prompting shoppers to draw comparisons to the high-end skincare brand, Drunk Elephant. The store's new range includes several products, such as the Dizzy Panda Crystal Glow Cleanser that contains watermelon extract, glycerine, and collagen for "double hydration", starting at just 99p.

Also part of the collection is Dizzy Panda's Brightening Toner priced £1.29 that incorporates ceramides, lactic acid and watermelon extract.

For £2.49, customers can get Dizzy Panda's Moisturising and Softening Lotion that contains 10% AHA and 2% BHA. The Peptide Face Cream is available at an equal cost.

One customer, Becky, took to the Facebook page, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, sharing images of the 'Drunk Elephant alternatives' she found in her local Home Bargains. It didn't take long for her post to garner thousands of responses.

Shannon responded, exclaiming: "OMG! ! Running to home bargains." Grace tagged a friend and posted: "We need the whole collection."

Aimee added: "Omg, I need these." Charis suggested a mate: "Home bargains trip soon please."

Another customer shared a post praising the alternative, with Sara replying: "Bought these yesterday, will give them a good try but currently my skin feels lovely with them on, nicer than my Elemis."

Despite the overwhelming enthusiasm, not everyone was sold on the new range, primarily due to concerns regarding its ingredients being different from those of Drunk Elephant. Billy commented, expressing his doubts: "Not sure the ingredients will be the same and strength."

Sunnie added: "Not a dupe when it's different ingredients."
