When hours of 'heavy' rain are due to hit Leicester

Latest Met Office forecasts indicate that Leicester will see rain for hours tomorrow morning (Tuesday May 14). From 5am until 11am, it is predicting an 80 per cent or above chance of “heavy” rain.

The forecasting service previously predicted that the city would see the rain this evening. However, that has now altered.

The service is also predicting that at 7am tomorrow, humidity levels in Leicester will be at 93 per cent, the highest of the day.

Light rain will begin as we move into the early hours of tomorrow, with it predicted to begin at 12am. Temperatures will drop to an average of around 15 degrees also, a big drop from the warmer weather seen over the weekend.

Into the afternoon and evening tomorrow, the Met Office is predicting that it will remain cloudy in Leicester, but that it won’t rain.
