A brand new event full of live music and family fun will be taking place in Hucknall this weekend. On Saturday, July 6, the mini music festival will be taking place at Titchfield Park.

Hucknall Fest will begin at 11am and will last until 10pm. The main attraction for the day is the huge music stage, which will include local acts, Eurovision entry Lindsay Dracass, as well as top tributes to Rag n Bone Man, Taylor Swift, Blur, Oasis, and Amy Winehouse.

There will also be a funfair, inflatables, face painting, balloon modelling, and a dog show during the day. There will also be meet and greets with Disney princesses and Paw Patrol.

In addition, visitors can expect a village market filled with local businesses, crafters and a food court with a range of different cusines. John Bennett, Executive Director of Place, said “We are really pleased to be bringing the first ever Hucknall Fest to Titchfield Park, it’s going to be a fantastic day for the whole family.

"This is just one of Ashfield District Council’s fabulous free events that we are hosting this year. Keep your eyes on our social media and website for more details of upcoming events.”

Another event will also be taking place on Sunday, August 18, as the popular Ashfield Food and Drink Festival is set to return to the town.
