Are aliens in need of reasonably priced furniture?

A huge, blazing UFO was seen flying above an IKEA branch - a place most Earthlings fear to tread at the best of times.

The mysterious object was seen streaking across the sky over a vast area of Russia and Kazakhstan - and astronomers don’t think it was a comet.

One viewer captured the ‘burning’ object above a branch of the popular furniture superstore in Omsk in Siberia.

Staff at the planetarium in the Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies told The Siberian Times, ‘It is definitely not a comet.’

But it may not be the case that extraterrestrials have visited our planet to pick up furniture.

Instead, local experts suggest that it may have been a secret missile launch - an unannounced test of an intercontinental missile, launched from the Kasputin Yar cosmodrome.

Omsk planetarium head Vladimir Krupko said, ‘I am 100% sure it was a launch. I saw a ring and a moving cloud. Most probably, it was the engine's discharge.

'Given the direction, could be from Plesetsk (in northern Russia), but I can't find information about any launch...'
