Huge queues line up outside new Manchester city centre tea spot

Huge queues of people have been lining the streets in Manchester city centre following the launch of a new café.

HEYTEA have launched their Manchester branch, on Market Street, on Saturday afternoon (June 15). The London-based café pride themselves on being the OGs of New Asian Tea.

Posting on Instagram, they wrote: "We're absolutely thrilled to announce the grand opening of our newest location, bringing the iconic flavours of new Asian tea right to your doorstep.

"But wait, there's more! We're kicking off our arrival with an epic week of specials just for you..."

Between June 15th and June 17, customers can buy one and get one free on all their favourite HEYTEA drinks, one free drink per order.

Between June 18 and June 21 customers can buy one get one half price on all drinks, one half-priced drink per order.

In pictures shared with the Manchester Evening News, hundreds of people can be seen queuing up outside Primark and to grab their first drink.
