As the whole of the UK seems to be in the grip of Taylor Swift fever, a huge outdoor party dedicated to the music icon is coming to Newcastle this summer, with the promise of non stop hits from her back catalogue and a star turn from a tribute act.
Since she really broke through over here with her 2009 single Love Story, Taylor's popularity on British soil has just got greater and greater as the years have gone on, thanks her growing number of smash hits like Look What You Made Me Do, Me, We Are Never Getting Back Together and Anti-Hero, as well as hit albums like Folkore, Midnights and current phenomenon The Tortured Poets Department.
Taylor is now travelling the UK on her high grossing Eras tour, so far delighting packed crowds in the likes of Edinburgh and Liverpool and, while she won't be coming to the North East, we could be getting the next best thing in the form of the Taylor Swift Summer Garden Party, which will arrives at Ouseburn Garden on Saturday, July 6.

A place known for having a packed crowd, whether it be for after work drinks, to watch live football action or to catch pop up gigs by the likes of Dizzee Rascal and Jax Jones, the Garden is sure to see plenty of people flocking next month, with organisers, The Brunch Club,. teasing: "Get ready to shake it off and dance the day away with a live performance by a talented Taylor Swift tribute act, accompanied by dazzling dancers and tunes spun by our fabulous DJ.
