Hugh Grant is about to get married for the first time
British actor Hugh Grant is about to get married for the first time, at the age of 57.
Grant, who has been long regarded as one of acting’s most eligible bachelors, may have played the dashing male lead in plenty of big-screen movies, but he’s yet to tie the knot himself in real life.
That is until now.
The Love Actually and Four Weddings and a Funeral star is set to marry Swedlish television producer Anna Eberstein and mother to his three children.
It was discovered that the pair were getting wed after their banns of marriage were spotted at Chelsea Old Town Hall, where forthcoming marriages are announced, and subsequently picked up by the press.
The Town Hall declaration was displayed near tot he couple’s £10 million Wes London home.
A source for the Sun said: ‘This is a day none of Hugh’s friends ever thought would come.
‘He will soon be a pensioner and has finally become a family man.’
The star had previously been known for a 13-year relationship with Hollywood actress Liz Hurley, but the pair split up in 2000, after he was arrested for liaising with a sex worker.
Over the years, Grant was linked to various women in the public eye, including EastEnders actress and singer Martine McCutcheon, Hollywood royalty Drew Barrymore, as well as Prince Andrew’s former girlfriend Caroline Stanbury.
The Brit has been with Anna for around six years now and, it seems, is ready to settle down into marriage.
