Hugh Jackman says 'this is 55' as he reveals his secret to youthful skin

Hugh Jackman has shared with his fans how turning 55 has seen him step up his grooming routine. The celebrated Wolverine actor, who marked the occasion on October 12, 2023, has revealed how he uses eye patches to combat dark circles and smooth out wrinkles.

Taking to social media he uploaded a photo of himself donning a pair of Augustinus Bader The Eye Patches, retailing at $23, and captioned it: "This is 55."

These luxury skincare products are packed with ingredients such as acetylated hyaluronic acid to hydrate and firm up the skin.

Jackman is not the only celebrity to depend on Augustinus Bader's high-end skincare line. A-list celebrities like Margot Robbie, 34, Hailey Bieber, 27, Kim Kardashian, 43, and Victoria Beckham, 50, are also reported to be enthusiasts of the brand. Following his split from actress Deborra-lee Furness, 68, Hugh has been actively posting positive content on his Instagram account.

Last year the couple surprised their global supporters by announcing their separation in September, despite being considered as having one of the strongest partnerships in the entertainment industry. In a joint declaration they stated: "We have been blessed to share almost three decades together in a wonderful, loving marriage. "Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth. Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness."

They concluded with a plea for discretion: "We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition." The couple, who have two children, Oscar, 24, and Ava, 18, have been together for many years having married in 1996 after meeting on the set of the TV mini-series, Correlli, in 1994.
