Hull City will begin their 2024/25 Championship season with a home clash against Bristol City. The Robins head to the MKM Stadium for a lunchtime clash on Saturday, August 10, in what will be Tim Walter's first match in charge of Hull.

It is the second time in three years that the Tigers have faced Bristol in their own backyard on the opening weekend of the season. The two clubs collided in 2022, with City prevailing 2-1 after late goals from Ozan Tufan (penalty) and Jean Michael Seri.

Their first away fixture will see them go to Plymouth Argyle, who defeated them on the final day of last term to extinguish their play-off hopes. After hosting Millwall, City round off the opening month with a mouth-watering trip to Leeds United.

September kicks off with a Yorkshire derby showdown with newly-relegated Sheffield United. City entertain the Blades' Steel City rivals Sheffield Wednesday on November 26.

A trip to Deepdale to take on Preston North End lies in wait for Tim Walter's side on Boxing Day. They will then travel to Blackburn Rovers for their second festive fixture three days later.

City's first match of 2025 will be at home to Middlesbrough on New Year's Day, with Leeds scheduled to visit the MKM Stadium on January 4.

Their final home game of the season pits them against Derby County on April 26. City conclude their campaign with a trip to newly-promoted Portsmouth on May 3.
