Hull City now know the size of the task facing the club over the course of the summer months after their retained list was confirmed over the weekend.

A host of first-team and fringe players will move on from the MKM Stadium when their contracts officially expire at the end of June, leaving City with a large hole in their squad, and while that could understandably be viewed as a negative, it's also a big opportunity for the new manager.

With as many as 10 new players required before the summer transfer window closes at the end of August, the incoming boss has a big chance to shape his squad and put his stamp on it.
