Hull drivers ‘stuck’ as wind turbine blade transported through city
Motorists have reported being stuck in traffic this morning as the movement of a second huge wind turbine blade in just over a week is under way.
The blade could be seen on the move earlier today, with drivers reporting being stationery in tailbacks. The slow and steady transportation of a blade last week brought parts of a Hull to a standstill, with police warning of delays because of the “abnormal load”.
Today, Hull Live's Traffic and Travel Facebook page was busy with people posting about blade number two starting its journey. The first blade was heading to Dunnington, in East Yorkshire.
