Tiaki Chan has been included in France's 22-man squad to take on England this Saturday. The 24-year-old forward is currently on loan at Hull FC from Wigan Warriors.

Chan has played four of the last five games for the Black and Whites, having turned out twice for Wigan earlier this year. He signed a three-year deal with Matt Peet's side ahead of the season.

Hoping for a further international cap, Chan made his France senior debut against England last April, with Shaun Wane's side winning 64-0 at Warington's Halliwell Jones Stadium. However, a closer contest is expected this year.

The upcoming international, held in Toulouse on Saturday, marks the 90th anniversary of rugby league in France, with head coach Laurent Frayssinous saying is one of the best groups the French side have seen for 'some time.

The squad features over a dozen players from Catalans Dragaons, with former Hull FC back Hakim Miloudi, now at London Broncos also in their side. Leeds Rhinos duo Mikael Goudemand and Justin Sangare are also named as is Huddersfield Giants forward Hugo Salabio.

"This group to face England is surely the best group that the French team has known for quite some time," Frayssinous said. "It is perfect to celebrate the 90th anniversary.

"I know that the players are keen to give everything so that the celebration is great and to make all the French players proud as well as our 90-year-old heritage, even against one of the best teams in the world which remains on a victorious series against Tonga last year.

"We are going to approach this Test match with certainly the humility that characterises us, but also with this enormous desire to carry the colors of our country and our sport high."
