Hundreds of Taylor Swift fans told to 'move on' from outside Anfield stadium

Crowds of Taylor Swift fans have been dispersed outside Anfield stadium, with stewards telling hundreds of people to "move on".

The ECHO understands that staff at the LFC home ground have told groups of people who have turned up to try to listen to the Eras Tour to make their way to Stanley Park instead. Swifties setting up outside the star's gigs is nothing new.

Clips went viral back in May 2023 when thousands of people gathered to sing along outside her concert in Philadelphia in the US, and there have been similar turnouts at pretty much every Eras Tour gig since.

Families and other groups were moved on from near the players' entrance for safety reasons. Thankfully they didn't have to go far, and crowds could be seen having a great time in nearby Stanley Park.

The rain has battered Liverpool FC's home ground throughout parts of this evening, but the downpour has not dampened the spirits of the army of Swifties who have rocked up to see their idol.

Paramore kickstarted things at around 6.30pm before Taylor herself arrived at just after 7.30pm.

Fans of all ages are listening from the park, after thousands of people were unable to get tickets when they went on sale last year.
