Comedian Iain Stirling has apologised in a message to fans after rescheduling his Liverpool gig.

The 36-year-old was due to perform at St George's Hall as part of his UK and Ireland tour, Relevant, later this month but due to "unforeseen circumstances", the event has been postponed until next year.

Iain Stirling rose to fame while presenting the children's TV channel, CBBC, alongside his canine companion, Hacker T. Dog, from the show Scoop.

Iain went on to appear on Russell Howard's Good News before becoming the narrator of ITV reality series, Love Island. In 2017, he began hosting the comedy game show CelebAbility and since June 2020, has appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox, alongside his wife, Laura Whitmore.

After releasing his Prime Video stand-up special, Failing Upwards, he embarked on his UK tour. However, after being forced to reschedule his Liverpool performance, Iain has sent an apologetic message to fans.

It reads: "Hey guys, I’m unfortunately/unexpectedly having to reschedule my Liverpool date to Sunday 16th March 2025.

"I would like to apologise; I’ve never rescheduled any tour dates before (other than that one time there was a global pandemic) so I do not take this decision lightly.

"Venues will be in touch to transfer your tickets over to the new dates. I hope you can make it because the show is awesome, I promise.

"Thanks again and hopefully see you all soon. Iain x”
