IDF Orders Gazans to Evacuate Rafah, Drops Leaflets

Israeli forces dropped leaflets on Rafah on Monday, May 6, ordering Gazans in part of the southern city to evacuate.

Video posted by Palestinian journalist Hind Khoudary shows leaflets falling from the sky and a closer view of one of the leaflets also posted online by the IDF.

The leaflet reads, according to a machine translation, “The Israel Defense Forces will act with extreme force against the terrorist organizations in the areas where you live – as it has done so far. Anyone who is near terrorist organizations puts his life and the life of his family at risk. For your safety, the Israel Defense Forces calls on you to evacuate immediately to the humanitarian zone.”

The IDF said it “expanded the humanitarian area in Al-Mawasi.”
