IDF Strikes Gaza Hamas Targets in Wake of Rocket Launches

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said multiple Hamas positions were targeted in strikes on the Gaza Strip on the night of May 2-3.

The IDF said the strikes targeted weapons-manufacturing sites, military compounds and underground tunnels, all operated by Hamas.

On Tuesday sirens sounded across southern Israel, following rocket launches from Gaza.

Palestinian media outlet WAFA reported that the airstrikes caused “massive damage” to the northwestern part of Gaza City. No casualties were reported. Credit: Israel Defense Forces via Storyful
